ABOUT CROSBY YACHT YARD BOATS
A name renowned in the Massachusetts area since the mid 1800s as a shipyard, Crosby Yacht Yard entered the recreational boat market in 1972. Crosby Yacht Yard has built both sailboats and powerboats including the Crosby Striper. After 1985, Crosby Yacht Yard focuses solely on custom orders for commercial and pleasure boat markets. During World War Two, the United States Army Corp of Engineers used the Crosby Yacht Yard facility for training exercises that included preparation for the Battle of Normandy.

Crosby Yacht Yard Facts:
Established in 1850 on Cape Cod in Osterville, Massachusetts. Crosby Yacht Yard is the original designer and builder of the world famous Crosby Catboat, Wianno Senior, Crosby Striper, Canyon, Hawk, and our complete line of TUGS . Our facilities include both dockage and moorings. There is a well marked channel (maintained from April to November) from Nantucket Sound into the Crosby Basin. We specialize in boat building (commercial and pleasure), classic boat restorations, repairs of all types, hauling of boats to 100', and indoor / outdoor storage. Transient dockage is available by appointment with slips to accommodate vessels to 120'. Bright and clean head facilities with showers are on premises. Our restaurant, "The Islander", overlooking the Crosby Basin serves lunch and dinner from May through September. The fuel dock is open seven days a week from April through October with high speed gasoline and diesel dispensers. Nearby recreational facilities include two golf courses, tennis courts, beaches and excellent sportfishing grounds. Osterville’s unique main street shops, churches and grocery stores are within walking distance.
