Started in 1978, Formula Yachts created the Evelyn line in Groton, Connecticut. Formula Yachts produced the legendary 14-foot Blue Jay sailboat for the first time in 1988 catering the casual boating market. After 24 years of involvement in the marine industry, Formula Yachts concluded business in 2002.
