Founded as part of the Nissan Industrial Equipment Company, Nissan Marine created inflatable watercraft ranging in hull lengths from 8 to 25 feet. Built as a companion for the Nissan outboard marine motors, the inflatable boats offered by Nissan Marine were sold between 1989 and 1994 model year.

Nissan Marine Facts:
Nissan Marine began their North American operations in 1984 in Memphis, Tennessee as a division of Nissan Industrial Equipment Co. Over the next 6 years, the Marine Division experienced explosive growth and in 1991 Nissan Marine was separated from Nissan Industrial Equipment into a standalone company. Nissan Marine moved their headquarters to their present location in the Dallas, Texas area.
