Serabond Thread
Amann Serabond thread was made for marine and boat covers. Serabond is built to for long durability, resistance to both UV and untwisting. The high performance bonded polyester comes in a wide range of color options and can be used for almost any outdoor use case. (Sails / tents / awning / umbrellas / boat covers / tarps / etc...)
With a #18 or #20 needle, this thread works on any marine fabric including Sunflair, Windstorm, CoolTech and Sunbrella. This makes for a smoother feed to your sewing machine, the twists in the thread adds extra strength, helping keep the thread from unlaying and easing tension issues. Serabond 92 is treated with non-wick application to limit moisture migration, perfect for any marine use whether it's a bimini top, sails, tents, awnings, outdoor canvas, tarps or boat/motor cover.
Advanced UV protection specially designed for outdoor applications where seam strength and fade prevention is required.
Weather tested according to ISO 4892-1 and ISO 4892-2 to withstand extreme weather conditions both wet and hot, UV protection and moisture prevention.
